Mike Vick and his lawyer could have a problem. Vick’s attorney Larry Woodward told the police Vick left at least ten minutes before a shooting took place at his birthday party last week and maybe up to 20 minutes before it happened. But the owner of the restaurant hosting the party says video surveillance shows Vick and his crew leaving just three minutes before it happened.

Putting that all aside for just a moment, how in the world does a guy who has already lost everything, who got a second chance and is playing without a net, even put himself in this position. Why not just invite Roger Goodell to a dogfight this weekend, Mike? And save your emails about how the Cat who was shot wasn’t invited; that he was a party crasher. You can’t crash a public birthday party. It’s public. Considering who he is and what he’s been through, Vick can’t throw himself a public birthday party. He should go Monk. He should have sworn off the life altogether. No dog fights, no strip clubs, no public birthday parties, where snitches can show up and possibly be shot. I’ll never tell anyone how to live their life. Well, except Mike Vick; this is what he needs to do, wake up, go to the facility, practice, watch film, bang weights, and go home. Sleep. Repeat process. Every day until his career is over. The fact that he’s throwing birthday parties for himself, and guys are getting shot, shows he still doesn’t get it and never will.
