Niner fan, at this point you're probably hoping that I'm going to sit here and throw in with the New York Giants. The more doubters, haters and talking heads who diss Frisco the better right? But I have to say, whether you like it or not - I like the Niners. A lot. Sure I thought the Saints would do them. But that wasn't because I doubted Frisco, it's because I believed in Drew Brees. And then I watched your boys punk them in the final seconds. Total respect.

And on Sunday, I think Eli and the fellas are going to find out that the Niners D isn't the Packers D. In fact, if Eli stays on his feet through the first series- I'll be shocked. Even a guy balling as well as he is can't convert 3rd and longs if he's lying on his back. Hakeem Nicks, and Victor Cruz will get their catches- and they'll pay for every one of them. The Niners wrap up and tackle like crazy. And the Giants have been getting rich on teams that don't. I think Frisco keeps it close, and I think Frank Gore busts a big one late. I'm telling you, There's something special about this team, and the Giants are about to find that out. We go way back, Niner fan. You can take me at my word. I like the Niners...
But I LOVE the Giants. Oh, it's going to be a party at the Stick. Right up until the Giants crash it, kick the keg and trash the place. They're not turning it over 5 times. They're not letting Vernon Davis run free. They're not letting Alex Smith look like Joe Montana. They're not the Saints. And they're not losing. 27-20 Giants.
I believe in this Niners team, all right. I believe that the off season will start around 9:30 eastern on Sunday night. See you next season, Niner fan. Don't hate the player, hate the game. And leave the Duracells at home.
