LeBron James has gone from having most of the world love him to most of the world disliking him and he did it virtually overnight. That’s not easy to do. So at a time when he should keep his mouth shut and stay down, he continues to bump his gums and make it even worse. GQ magazine is coming out with its feature and quotes LeBron as saying, “I love our fans. Cleveland fans are awesome. But I mean, even my family gets spoiled at times watching me doing things that I do on and off the court.” Seriously, LeBron really likes being LeBron doesn’t he.

He spoils his own family by letting it watch him? Like, hey Mom, for real, you have to stop watching me take it to the rack; I’m spoiling you rotten. I’m not leaving you tickets tonight; you have to earn them. And I’m even better off the floor than I am on it; y’all don’t even deserve to see me in the clubs any more. How a guy could quit on his teammates and come up that weak against Boston and still feel that good about himself, I have no idea. But he does. Otherwise, he wouldn’t talk about how lucky his family is that he woke up this morning.
And how about this crack back on Cavs owner Dan Gilbert; the guy who enabled him and gave him whatever he wanted for the past 7 years; essentially let him and his crew have free run of the joint: “I don’t think he ever cared about LeBron. My mother has always told me, ‘you wil see the light of people when they hit adversity. You’ll get a good sense of their character.” Jim Rome can’t believe LeBron just said, “I don’t think he ever cared about LeBron.” Jim Rome says nothing says egomaniac like LeBron referencing LeBron when talking about the Cavs owner. Jim Rome thinks LeBron talking about LeBron is another reason people don’t like him, and Jim Rome thinks he really needs to stop doing it. Jim Rome can’t believe the guy is questioning someone else’s character in the third person.
