I know I laid this out yesterday, but the Chris Johnson v. Ted Ginn footrace hype will not die. Good! Because, I don’t want it to! Ginn has finally weighed in saying he didn’t no show, he’s not afraid of C.J. and that he thinks he would beat him. I’m sure you do, Theodore. Just know one of your other teammates, Channing Crowder…doesn’t: “…y’all don’t know how fast that boy is. He is fast, fast, fast. Flat-out fast! Capital letters…” Word, C.C.!
I’m already on record as saying Johnson smokes him. And Johnson finally did admit Ginn is fast. For a Big Ten guy: “…he is pretty fast, but what a lot of people get mistaken is the conference that he played in, what was it, the Big Ten? They are a slow conference and they don’t have fast guys in that conference, so that makes him look like a fast guy.” Brilliant!
Every time this guy opens his mouth, his stock goes up with me. The old, “his conference is so slow it makes him look faster than he really is”…blast!!! So good.
How’d that taste Big Ten?! One thing to constantly be taking it from the SEC or Pac-10, but that’s a conference USA’er who says you’re all running in the sand. What he’s saying is the Buckeyes can’t run with UTEP…they’d get smoked by Tulsa…and they’d be left in the vapor trail of the Rice Owls. Awesome!
