If it seems to dumb to be true it usually is. Speculation prior to their meeting today had Ben Roethlisberger and his reps actually asking Roger Goodell to knock his suspension all the way down to 3 games. Who are your advisors? Houston Nutt. And why should he reduce it. Because you haven’t forced yourself on any women, allegedly in the last month. In the end, they didn’t ask and Goodell dropped it to four. And Roethlisberger’s lucky he did. He’s lucky Goodell didn’t keep it at six or tack on an extra game on that speculation alone. Photos: Big Ben's Career He should have told them I was all set to drop it to four, but the fact that you had the gall and arrogance to even think about rolling up on me like that, shows you still don’t get it, and you haven’t learned anything. I’ll see you in Week 8 Benjamin. And just because they didn’t ask for it, doesn’t mean they weren’t thinking about it. And if they were, then the guy still doesn’t get it, and probably never will. Oh and now that Byron Leftwich has gone down, that 2-2 start without Roethlsiberger is looking like 1-3 |
